Life is fragile and sometimes I forget just how fragile it really is.

He put on his gloves ready to resuscitate my auntie Grace when all had given up around him.
He put his lips on her forehead and said, "I'm sorry mom we tried everything we could."
He (my uncle Nick) had the toughest exterior I knew and there he was, as my mom put it (in tagalog), crying like a girl.
Today and everyday I will celebrate the life that you lived. Sleep tight auntie, until next time.
Side: It's time like these where we are reminded to be kind, to be ready, to love, and to appreciate every single blessing bestowed upon us. We may not have everything we want but as hard as it may seem, we do have everything we need. Always be thankful.
